Leonid from Aberdeen, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since October of 2015. The array was completed that December: 28 panels making 8.54 kW, each with its own Enphase microinverter, and an estimated 11,304 kilowatt hours in the first year. JCP&L interconnected it in January. Eleven years is long enough for the design decision to have been tested rather than argued: with a microinverter under every panel, a shaded or failing module affects only itself, and the array has degraded one panel at a time rather than as a single system. The roof was stripped and replaced before the panels went on, so the surface beneath them is as old as the array itself.
