$250 EV Charger Rebate
Charge Up New Jersey offers a $250 incentive for installing eligible Level 2 EV chargers at home. Funded by the Board of Public Utilities with $3 million to promote EV adoption and clean transportation, this incentive supports the purchase and installation of qualifying chargers. Please note that Tesla Wall Connectors are not eligible for this incentive.

ACE Rebates

Residential customers may qualify for a rebate of up to 50% of electrical upgrade costs (up to $1,000) for installing a Level 2 EV charger. ACE will issue the rebate within 45 days after validating all required information, confirming installation, and verifying eligibility.

* ChargePoint chargers support multiple connector types, making them one of the most versatile options available. The J1772 connector is standard for Level 2 charging and is compatible with nearly all electric vehicles (EVs) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) on the market today. This includes popular models from Tesla, such as the Model 3, Model Y, Model S, Model X, and Cybertruck, which can charge using a J1772 adapter or ChargePoint’s Tesla NACS connector for direct charging. Ford EVs, including the Mustang Mach-E, F-150 Lightning, Escape PHEV, and E-Transit, are also fully compatible. Other major manufacturers with ChargePoint-compatible EVs include Chevrolet with the Bolt EV, Bolt EUV, Silverado EV, and Volt PHEV; Rivian with the R1T and R1S; and Volkswagen with the ID.4 and ID.7.
Hyundai and Kia models, such as the IONIQ 5, IONIQ 6, Kona Electric, Santa Fe PHEV, Tucson PHEV, EV6, EV9, Niro EV, and Niro PHEV, can all charge seamlessly using ChargePoint chargers. BMW offers compatibility across their EV and PHEV lineup, including the i4, iX, iX3, i5, i7, 330e, 530e, and X5 xDrive45e. Mercedes-Benz models like the EQS, EQE, EQB, EQC, and GLE 450e PHEV also work with ChargePoint charging solutions. Luxury and performance EVs, such as the Lucid Air, Lucid Gravity, Polestar 1 PHEV, Polestar 2, Polestar 3, and Porsche Taycan, as well as hybrid models like the Panamera E-Hybrid and Cayenne E-Hybrid, are all supported.
Many other leading automakers offer ChargePoint-compatible EVs and plug-in hybrids. Toyota’s bZ4X, Prius Prime, RAV4 Prime, Corolla Cross Hybrid, Camry Hybrid, and Sequoia Hybrid all work with ChargePoint. Subaru’s Solterra and Crosstrek Hybrid, Jeep’s Wrangler 4xe and Grand Cherokee 4xe, and Volvo’s C40 Recharge, XC40 Recharge, XC60 Recharge PHEV, XC90 Recharge PHEV, and S60 Recharge PHEV are also on the list. Chrysler’s Pacifica Hybrid, Cadillac’s LYRIQ and CT6 PHEV, GMC’s Hummer EV and Sierra EV, Nissan’s Ariya and Leaf (which uses CHAdeMO for DC fast charging), and Jaguar’s I-PACE are all compatible as well. Genesis models, including the GV60, GV70 Electrified, GV80 Electrified, and G80 Electrified, along with Honda’s Prologue, Clarity PHEV, Accord Hybrid, and CR-V Hybrid, and Mitsubishi’s Outlander PHEV, round out the extensive list of supported vehicles.
ChargePoint also supports Tesla’s NACS connector, allowing Tesla owners to charge directly without an adapter. For DC fast charging, ChargePoint chargers are compatible with CCS and CHAdeMO, making them ideal for vehicles like the Nissan Leaf (CHAdeMO) and most CCS-equipped EVs.
