Kevin from Manasquan, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since October of 2020. The generator was commissioned in February of 2021: 13 kW on natural gas, on a 100-amp service-entrance switch, sized against a 12 kW calculation for the 1,700 square foot house. This is one of the smallest machines on the site, and it is exactly right for what it serves – a modest house with a refrigerator, a washer, a gas dryer and a dishwasher does not need twenty kilowatts, and paying for capacity that will never be used is a poor way to buy backup power. Manasquan sits at the mouth of the inlet, as exposed as the Monmouth coast gets. Annual maintenance, a ten-year extended parts-and-labor warranty and monitoring we manage all sit behind it.
