Ken from Brick, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since March of 2026. We installed a 14 kW Generac in June, running on natural gas and switching the whole house through a 100-amp service-rated transfer switch. The well pump is what makes the sizing matter here, because a house on a well loses its water altogether when the power goes rather than only its lights, and that is the difference between an inconvenience and having to leave. Two refrigerators and a freezer add to what the machine has to hold, and the code calculation put the minimum at 13 kW against the 14 that went in. One of our service plans supports it, with annual maintenance and remote monitoring that Green Sun manages directly.
