Alice and Vincent from Whiting, NJ have been Green Sun Energy Services clients since August of 2022. The generator was commissioned that October: a 14 kW Generac Guardian on natural gas, on a 200-amp whole-house transfer switch with a smart management module and surge protection. The load calculation asked for 13 kW across the 1,800 square foot house – a refrigerator, a washer, a gas dryer and a dishwasher – so the machine matches the requirement closely rather than exceeding it, which is the sensible answer when a house has a modest and well-understood load. The generator is supported by annual maintenance, a ten-year extended parts-and-labor warranty, and monitoring we manage.
