The array was completed on 12 November: 17 panels making 7.31 kW, each with its own Enphase IQ8PLUS microinverter, and an estimated 7,960 kilowatt hours in the first year. PSEG interconnected it three weeks later. Seventeen panels producing over seven kilowatts works out to 430 watts each, and a structural design was carried out as part of the permit process – the roof was shown to carry the array rather than assumed to. The existing roof was sound enough to take the panels as it stood.
