David from Manchester, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since August of 2018. The array was completed that month: 28 panels making 8.68 kW into a SolarEdge HD Wave inverter with optimizers, and an estimated 9,970 kilowatt hours in the first year. JCP&L interconnected the system in September. Manchester sits inland in Ocean County, well away from the salt air, which is the easier environment for an array to spend twenty-five years in – the panels and the racking see freeze and thaw and summer heat, but not the constant corrosion a shore roof deals with. Eight years on, the system is still producing.
