Aura Home Exteriors in Aberdeen Township, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since March of 2026. A roof cannot be replaced with an array bolted to it, and most roofing contractors have no reason to own that problem – so this one brought us in to handle the solar while the crew handled the shingles. We took down all 42 panels and the mounting system in April of 2026, and once the new roof was on we re-installed the array with new flashing at every roof penetration. New flashing is the part not to economize on: the old holes are gone with the old roof, and the new ones need sealing to the same standard as everything around them, or the roof that was just paid for starts leaking around the solar.
