Grounds Keeper, Inc. in Matawan, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since September of 2017. The array was completed in February of 2018: 66 panels making 22.44 kW into two SolarEdge three-phase inverters, and an estimated 25,195 kilowatt hours in the first year. JCP&L interconnected it in March. This is a commercial installation rather than a residential one, and two things follow from that: the inverters are three-phase because the building’s supply is, and the flat roof was coated rather than stripped and re-shingled – a different preparation entirely, and the right one for the surface involved. At over twenty-two kilowatts it remains among the largest arrays we have built.
