The seven-year service was carried out in 2020, the eight-year in 2021 and the ten-year interval in July of 2024, and a fuel plenum repair was handled alongside the first of them. The plenum is the part that carries fuel and air into the engine, and a fault there is not something a weekly self-test reveals – the machine runs its ten minutes and stops before anything is asked of it. Faults of that kind are found by somebody opening the enclosure, which is what the yearly visit is for.
