Pennington Citgo in Pennington, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since October of 2017. The 20 kW standby generator at the station was installed by another company in November of 2014, and the servicing came to us three years later — the same year the owner brought us the generator at his house nearby, so the business and the home are looked after together. Scheduled work has run from the two-year interval through to the eight-year, completed in January of 2023 with 84 hours on the meter and the fuel plenum inspected and clear of rust. A filling station has a sharper stake in this than a house does: without power the pumps do not turn, the card readers stop and the site closes, so a generator that starts is the difference between trading through an outage and shutting the doors until the grid returns.
