He and Ellen signed at the end of May and the generator was commissioned in late August, a 20 kW Generac on its own pad behind a 200-amp service-rated switch with two power management modules. The house is 2,238 square feet but carries two electric ovens and an electric dryer, and those three appliances alone account for most of the reason it took a 20 kW machine.
