The array is 35 Solaria 365-watt panels on a SolarEdge inverter, 12.775 kW rated and estimated at 17,285 kilowatt-hours a year, and it went up with 124 feet of critter guard closing the sheltered gap beneath the panels. The generator is a 22 kW Generac sized for 4,000 square feet on a well, with three refrigerators, an electric oven and a sump pump behind it — on a well there is no water at all without power, which is what usually decides the size.
