Blake from Atlantic Highlands, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since November of 2019. He signed that November and the array went live in January of 2020, 26 Hanwha Q.PEAK DUO panels on a SolarEdge HD Wave inverter, 8.71 kW rated and designed for about 8,771 kWh a year. Winter is an unglamorous time to commission a system, but it means the first full spring is already earning. Atlantic Highlands is in Monmouth County, high enough above the bay that the roofs up there catch very good sun.
Great experience working with the folks at Green Sun. They came out late last 2019 to do a survey - I met with Glenn and I believe Chris to discuss what a potential install would look like and what my options were. I was pretty unfamiliar with residential solar and the economics and they took the time to explain the process and benefits in plain English. My system has been live since around January and output is really starting to pickup - I think the estimates and analysis they did will end up being pretty much dead-on. Would highly recommend working with Green Sun for your solar install.
