Are panels designed for the wind near Leonardo?
Yes. The array and its mounting system have to be designed to resist the applicable wind loads, and coastal and exposed locations can carry different wind-design conditions from sheltered inland ones. It is one of the reasons the mounting system and its engineering are chosen for the site rather than by habit.
Does a bigger array always produce more?
Generally yes when everything else is equal, but size alone does not decide annual production. A smaller unshaded south-facing array can outproduce a larger one that is shaded or poorly oriented. Azimuth, tilt, shading, inverter efficiency and module characteristics all bear on it.
Does solar equipment have to be listed?
Yes. Modules, inverters and mounting systems are each subject to product-listing requirements under the applicable standards, and the equipment has to be installed according to that listing and its instructions rather than to general practice.
