Forty-five modules at 270 watts each is a lot of panels for the output, and that is what a 2016 array looks like. Module wattage has risen a long way since, so a system of this size laid out later covers noticeably less roof for the same result.

Should trees be cut down before installing solar?
Only where the production benefit justifies it and doing so is legally and environmentally appropriate.
