Mitch from Berkeley Heights, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since March of 2024. The charger went in that April: a hardwired ChargePoint Level 2 unit rated 11.5 kW on a dedicated 60-amp circuit, installed within ten feet of the breaker box. A permit was filed with the township and the work inspected, which is the part of an EV charger installation that separates a professional job from an extension lead – a 60-amp circuit is a substantial addition to a house’s electrical system, and it is inspected as one. A utility rebate application was submitted as part of the project.
