Stephen from Barnegat, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since December of 2022. The generator was commissioned in March of 2023: 26 kW on propane, on a 150-amp service-entrance switch with a 100-amp smart management module and surge protection. Propane rather than natural gas is what a property without a gas main uses, and it is worth noting that the same machine is rated 26 kW on propane and 22.5 kW on natural gas – the fuel changes what the engine can produce. The load calculation asked for 20 kW across 2,000 square feet, with a well pump, two heat pumps, a sump pump, an electric oven and an electric dryer between them explaining the figure. About eleven feet of pavers were lifted and a trench run between the main house and the studio as part of the work, with a paving contractor reinstating them afterwards.
