Standby Generator Service

Beth from Chatham, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since February of 2017. Her standby unit is a 16 kW Generac Centurion, a badge sold through retail rather than through dealers, which means a good many of them never end up on a service relationship at all. Hers did: the annual visit covers the spark plug and air filter, oil and filter, battery inspection, load testing and a full performance check. His 20 kW Generac is a 5800 series machine on our Silver plan, which is the annual service paired with Generac factory warranty rather than an extended one. That makes the visit itself the whole of the protection on a unit this age, so it is not a corner worth cutting: plug, air filter, oil and filter, battery, load test, diagnostics. Bob from Farmingdale, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since October of 2018. His 16 kW Generac from the 7000 series is on our maintenance schedule, which on this series means the annual service plus the firmware updates the newer controllers need.
