16 kW and Four Modules in Tinton Falls, NJ

Marie from Tinton Falls, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since August of 2020. The generator was commissioned in January of 2021: 16 kW on natural gas, on a 150-amp service-entrance switch with four smart management modules and surge protection. The load calculation asked for 14 kW across the 3,018 square foot house – a sump pump, a double electric oven, two refrigerators, a separate freezer, a washer, a gas dryer and a dishwasher. Four modules on a 16 kW machine is a deliberate choice: rather than buying a larger generator to cover everything starting at once, the modules stagger the heavy loads so a smaller machine carries the whole house. Annual maintenance, an extended parts-and-labor warranty and monitoring we manage all sit behind it.
