Adela from Neptune, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since October of 2020. The generator was commissioned in April of 2021: a 16 kW Generac Guardian on natural gas, outdoors beside the meter, with a 100-amp service-entrance switch and a smart management module. The load calculation asked for 13 kW across the 2,300 square foot house, so the machine that went in sits comfortably above the requirement rather than at it. The management module is what makes whole-house coverage work on a 100-amp service – rather than dividing the house into circuits that get power and circuits that do not, it eases the heaviest draw for a moment when several things start at once. Annual maintenance, a seven-year extended parts-and-labor warranty and monitoring we manage sit behind it.
