Joe from Keyport, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since December of 2023. The array was completed in March of 2024: 16 panels making 6.48 kW into a SolarEdge HD Wave inverter with optimizers, and an estimated 8,330 kilowatt hours in the first year. JCP&L interconnected it in May. 107 feet of critter guard went around the perimeter, which matters more on a smaller array than people expect – squirrels and birds nest in the gap between panels and roof, and the damage they do to wiring is not visible from the ground until production drops. The existing roof was in good enough condition to take the array as it stood.
