Nicholas from Holmdel, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since April of 2022. The generator was commissioned in June: 17 kW on natural gas, on a 200-amp managed whole-house switch with a smart management module and surge protection, sized against a 15 kW calculation for the 2,700 square foot house. A double electric oven and a mini-split are the two loads doing most of the work in that figure – the oven draws hard at predictable times, and the mini-split draws several times its running load in the instant the compressor starts. The management module exists so the two never start together. Annual maintenance, an extended parts-and-labor warranty and monitoring we manage all sit behind the machine.
