Gary from Forked River, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since October of 2021. The generator was commissioned in March of 2022: 17 kW on natural gas, on a 150-amp managed whole-house switch with a smart management module, sized against a 15 kW calculation for the 1,937 square foot house. An electric oven and microwave combination, a refrigerator, a washer, a gas dryer and a dishwasher make up the load. Forked River sits on Barnegat Bay in Lacey Township, where the storms that take the power out arrive off the water and the lines they bring down run through the same trees that make the streets pleasant. Five months separated the contract from the commissioning, which was the shape of generator work through that period.
