Christopher from Bound Brook, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since October of 2024, and had both jobs finished a day apart the following March. The generator was commissioned on 3 March: 17 kW on natural gas, on a 200-amp managed whole-house switch with a 100-amp and a 50-amp smart management module, sized against an 11 kW calculation for the 1,164 square foot house – the smallest house with a generator on the site. A heat pump is the reason the modules are there, since a compressor draws several times its running load in the instant it starts. Two Tesla Universal wall connectors followed the next day, rated 11.5 kW on a dedicated 60-amp circuit, with 88 amps of spare capacity measured on the service beforehand. Two chargers on one property is the arrangement for a two-car household that has stopped treating electricity as something that arrives from elsewhere.
