The array was completed in November: 39 panels making 13.65 kW into a SolarEdge HD Wave inverter with optimizers, 226 feet of critter guard around the perimeter, and an estimated 15,221 kilowatt hours in the first year. JCP&L interconnected it in December. Seven years on, the critter guard is the part worth mentioning: the gap between panels and roof is where squirrels and birds nest, and the wiring damage they do is invisible from the ground until production quietly drops. The existing roof was sound enough to take the array as it stood.
