Stefan from Bridgewater, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since May of 2023, and had the charger and the array installed a month apart. The charger went into the garage on 29 August: a ChargePoint Level 2 unit supplied by the household itself, installed on a dedicated 60-amp circuit with a load management module. The array followed on 29 September – 23 panels making 9.66 kW into a SolarEdge HD Wave inverter with optimizers, 176 feet of critter guard around the perimeter, and an estimated 10,650 kilowatt hours in the first year. JCP&L interconnected it in October. Buying the charger and the panels together is the version that makes the arithmetic work: the car is what lifts a household’s consumption, and the array is what covers the increase rather than watching the bill rise.
