Veronica from Whitehouse Station, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since February of 2022. The job was a removal rather than an installation: 30 panels making 6.75 kW taken down in June of 2022, along with the mounting system, the inverters, the disconnects, the exterior conduit and wiring, and the meters. The flashing and lag bolts were deliberately left in place and sealed rather than pulled, because every fastener drawn out of a roof is another hole to close and another chance of a leak years later. Taking an array off properly is a real piece of work in its own right, and it is not the part of solar anybody advertises – but a roof that needs replacing, a house being sold or a system at the end of its life all need it doing without damage left behind.
