Boris from Plainsboro, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since May of 2024. The charger went in that September: a hardwired ChargePoint Level 2 unit with a J1772 connector rated 11.5 kW, on a dedicated 60-amp circuit. The load calculation put the minimum service at 121 amps against the 200-amp supply the house already had, so the circuit went in without the panel being touched. A workmanship warranty visit followed a fortnight after installation and was completed the same week it was raised – the part of a warranty that matters is not the wording but whether anybody turns up, and here somebody did. A permit was filed with Plainsboro and a utility rebate application submitted as part of the job.
