Thomas from Middletown, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since October of 2020. The generator was commissioned in April of 2021: 20 kW on natural gas, on a 200-amp service-entrance switch with a smart management module, sized against a 15 kW calculation for the 2,342 square foot house. Two conditions were agreed before the contract was signed: three large bushes had to come out of the proposed location, and an abandoned dryer vent had to be sealed off. The vent is the one that matters technically – a disused opening in the wall near a generator is a path for exhaust to find its way back indoors, and sealing it is not optional. The generator is supported by annual maintenance, an extended parts-and-labor warranty, and monitoring we manage.
