Anthony from Jackson, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since July of 2024. The generator was commissioned in October: a Generac Guardian rated 19.5 kW on natural gas, on a 200-amp service-entrance switch with two smart management modules and surge protection. The load calculation asked for 19 kW across the 2,900 square foot house, with a double electric oven doing much of the work in that figure. One condition was agreed before the contract: a tree had to come down and the stump be ground below grade with the lawn. Below grade is the part that matters – a stump cut level looks finished and still rots, and a generator pad wants ground that will still be level in ten years rather than ground that looks level today.
