Robert from Belle Mead, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since October of 2023. The charger went into the garage in January of 2024: a hardwired ChargePoint Level 2 unit rated 11.5 kW on a dedicated 60-amp circuit, within ten feet of the breaker box. The service measured 121 amps of spare capacity, enough to take the circuit without touching the panel. A follow-up service call the month after installation dealt with a further item on site, which is the ordinary shape of electrical work on an older house – the charger is straightforward, and what surrounds it sometimes is not. A permit was filed with the township and a utility rebate application submitted.
