Does a 200-amp service in East Windsor automatically have room for a 48-amp charger?
No. The rating on the service is not the same thing as the capacity left in it. The existing loads decide: electric heat, air conditioning, an electric range, a dryer, a water heater, a pool, a hot tub, solar equipment and anything else substantial all count against what is available.
