Linda from Farmingdale, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since July of 2011, which makes this one of the longest relationships on our books. The solar came first, finished in October of that year: 28 Canadian Solar panels making 6.58 kW, each with its own Enphase microinverter, estimated at 7,976 kilowatt hours in the first year and interconnected with JCP&L that November. Choosing microinverters in 2011 was the far-sighted call – the array has no single component whose failure takes the whole system down. The generator followed in May of 2013: 16 kW on natural gas with a 200-amp service entrance and air conditioning load shedding, sized for a 1,400 square foot house with two electric ovens. It has been on annual maintenance with monitoring we manage ever since.
Deciding to install solar electric to our home was an important decision. However, using Green Sun Energy Services was definitely the right decision. The team of installers were superior workers as well as courteous, professional and efficient. The job was completed in 1 1/2 days, and our electric meter immediately started spinning backwards. The management team of Chris and Glen were most knowledgeable and carefully explained the process and the equipment so that it was easy for the homeowner to understand. We highly recommend Green Sun Energy to get the job done. Do not hesitate to contact them. - Linda A., from Farmingdale, NJ | Solar Review Source: Angie's List
