Very. The old roof is being torn off and thousands of fasteners are being driven into the deck above your head. Anyone working from home may want to plan around it, pets can find it distressing, and fragile items on attic shelves or hanging on walls immediately below the roof are worth securing beforehand.

Gutters formed on site from continuous aluminium coil, so a long run has no field joints along its length. There are still joints at corners, end caps, outlets and downspout transitions, but removing the unnecessary seams removes the leak points that go with them. Pitch, fastening and downspout capacity still have to be right.
SolarHow does an optimizer system differ from microinverters?
An optimizer system puts DC power optimizers at the modules and a single central inverter elsewhere; a microinverter system puts a small inverter at each module. Both can provide module-level monitoring and rapid shutdown when properly designed -- they are different architectures rather than one being the upgrade of the other.
SolarIs the roof strong enough to carry solar?
It has to be verified as part of the design rather than assumed. The residential code requires the roof structure to support the loads the array imposes in addition to snow, wind and the rest. The evaluation looks at rafter or truss size, span, spacing, roof material, system weight, snow and wind loads, and where the attachments land.
