Thirty-five Jinko 425-watt panels on IronRidge rail, finished in October of 2025, with first-year production estimated at 15,119 kWh. At nearly fifteen kilowatts this is a large residential array, and the rail layout is what decides how that weight sits across the roof structure.

The generator already at the house

A Generac 7035 rated 16 kW, installed in August of 2020 by another company, feeding a 70-amp transfer switch. Green Sun took it on in August of 2025 and serviced it that September. A machine and an array on one house pull in opposite directions – one runs when the grid is down, the other shuts off when it is – so the two have to be commissioned knowing about each other.
