Kendis from Manasquan, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since September of 2019. The generator was commissioned that December: a Generac Guardian rated 19.5 kW on natural gas, feeding two 150-amp service-entrance switches – 300 amps of transfer capacity in total – with three smart management modules. Two switches rather than one is the arrangement a house with two electrical services needs, and it is the only installation of its kind on the site. The load calculation asked for 20 kW across 4,579 square feet, so the machine sits just below the figure and the three modules make up the difference by staggering what starts when. Annual maintenance, a ten-year extended parts-and-labor warranty and monitoring we manage all sit behind it.
