Paul from Middletown, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since July of 2021. The generator was commissioned in February of 2022: 18 kW on natural gas, on a 200-amp managed whole-house switch, sized against a 14 kW calculation for the 2,800 square foot house. A refrigerator, a washer, a gas dryer and a dishwasher make up the load, so the machine carries a comfortable margin over what the calculation required. One condition was agreed before the work: three large bushes removed from the proposed generator position by the household. Why do outages last longer on some Middletown streets than others?
