The generator was commissioned in February of 2022: 18 kW on natural gas, on a 200-amp managed whole-house switch, sized against a 14 kW calculation for the 2,800 square foot house. A refrigerator, a washer, a gas dryer and a dishwasher make up the load, so the machine carries a comfortable margin over what the calculation required. One condition was agreed before the work: three large bushes removed from the proposed generator position by the household. Annual maintenance, an extended parts-and-labor warranty and monitoring we manage all sit behind the machine.
