On a barrier island the wildlife pressure is constant – gulls, squirrels and nesting birds all treat the shaded gap between panel and roof deck as sheltered ground, and wiring damage there is costly to put right and hard to see until production drops. The guard seals the opening while leaving the array ventilated and reachable for service.
