Peter from Manasquan, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since August of 2020. The generator was commissioned in January of 2021: a 16 kW Generac Guardian on natural gas, on a 200-amp whole-house switch with two smart management modules, sized against a 15 kW calculation for the 3,000 square foot house. The well pump is the load that matters most on that list, since a house on a well loses its water the moment the power stops. Nearly five years later we came back to install an EV charger in the garage – a customer-supplied GM PowerUp Level 2 unit, hardwired on a dedicated 60-amp circuit, with the service checked first to confirm it could carry the addition. The generator is supported by annual maintenance, an extended parts-and-labor warranty, and monitoring we manage.
