Hilary from Atlantic Highlands, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since February of 2022. The generator was installed by another company and commissioned in July of 2011, and the servicing came to us more than ten years later, beginning with a startup inspection to establish what condition it was actually in. The ten-year service has been carried out every year since – 2023, 2024 and again after that. A machine in its fifteenth year is well beyond the age at which most standby generators have been quietly written off, and the only thing separating one that still starts from one that does not is whether somebody keeps opening the enclosure. An annual maintenance plan covers the visit, with the manufacturer’s standard warranty behind the machine.
