Michael from Little Silver, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since June of 2025, and booked the charger and the array within days of each other. The charger went in on 18 July: a hardwired ChargePoint Level 2 unit rated 11.5 kW, mounted outdoors on a dedicated 60-amp circuit, with 132 amps of spare capacity measured on the service beforehand. The array followed three weeks later – 15 panels making 6.38 kW with Enphase IQ8 microinverters, and an estimated 5,251 kilowatt hours in the first year. JCP&L interconnected it in September. Buying both together is the version that makes the arithmetic work: the car is what pushes a household’s consumption up, and the array is what covers the increase rather than watching the bill rise.
