Cathy from Farmingdale, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since November of 2024. The generator was commissioned in April of 2025: a Generac Guardian rated 17 kW on natural gas, outdoors beside the meter, with a 150-amp service-entrance switch and surge protection, sized against a 13 kW calculation for the 1,817 square foot house. That June we came back for something entirely different and washed the house down – a sodium hypochlorite and surfactant formula, which lifts the algae and mildew off siding without the pressure that drives water behind it. Soft washing and standby power have nothing technically in common, but they answer the same instinct: deal with the thing before it becomes the emergency. The generator is supported by annual maintenance, a seven-year extended parts-and-labor warranty, and monitoring we manage.
