Leslie from Ocean, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since July of 2025, and had both projects finished inside three weeks of each other. The generator came first, on 19 September: a Generac Guardian rated 17 kW on natural gas, on a 100-amp service-entrance switch with load management, sized against a 13 kW calculation for a house carrying two sump pumps, two refrigerators and a separate freezer. The array followed on 9 October – 28 panels making 12.6 kW, each with its own Enphase IQ8X microinverter and a 25-year warranty, plus 200 feet of critter guard around the perimeter. The design estimates 13,614 kilowatt hours in the first year, and JCP&L interconnected it in November. The generator is supported by annual maintenance, an extended parts-and-labor warranty, and monitoring we manage.
