Patrick from Verona, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since September of 2025, and booked the roof and the array a day apart. The roof came first, finished on 3 November: a single layer stripped to the sheathing and hauled away, then 3,000 square feet of new composition shingle in hickory with a 50-year warranty. The array followed nine days later – 12 panels making 5.16 kW with Enphase IQ8 microinverters, 84 feet of critter guard around the perimeter, and an estimated 5,756 kilowatt hours in the first year. PSEG interconnected it in January. A twelve-panel array is a modest system on a large roof, and the microinverter design is what makes that sensible: adding panels later means adding microinverters with them rather than resizing a central inverter that was specified for a system this size.
