Michael from Marlton, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since June of 2025. The charger went into the garage in July: a Tesla Generation 3 Wall Connector rated 11.5 kW, hardwired on a dedicated 60-amp circuit within ten feet of the breaker box. The unit itself was supplied by the household rather than by us, which is a perfectly sensible way to do it – the equipment is often bought with the car, and what actually needs a contractor is the circuit, the permit and the inspection rather than the box on the wall. The service measured 166 amps of spare capacity, so the circuit could be added without touching the panel, and a utility rebate application was filed as part of the job.
