A Roof, Solar and a Generator in Manasquan, NJ

Manasquan, NJ · Client since October 2014

Robert and Sharon from Manasquan, NJ have been Green Sun Energy Services clients since October of 2014, and took on three projects in a single winter. The roof came first, in March of 2015: a single layer stripped to the sheathing and replaced in oyster gray composition shingle with a 50-year warranty. The generator followed at the end of that month – 16 kW on a 200-amp whole-house transfer switch, sized for a house with two well pumps, which is the load that decides everything out here, since no power means no water at all. The array went up in April: 25 panels making 7.5 kW, each with its own Enphase microinverter, estimated at 8,296 kilowatt hours in the first year and interconnected by JCP&L in May. The array is leased rather than owned. Doing all three inside six months is the thorough version: new roof underneath, panels on top of it, and a generator for the days the grid gives nothing.

"Glen and his staff did an outstanding job with the installation of the solar panels. I was informed on a regular basis as to the progress that was being made for the permits and work that had to be done once approvals were granted. The teams that installed the roof and generator also did an excellent job. This is a company that truly cares about their customers."Robert from Manasquan, NJ. Review Source: Angie's List
