Wyatt from Lawrence Township, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since March of 2025. The charger went into the garage that April: a hardwired ChargePoint Level 2 unit rated 11.5 kW on a dedicated 60-amp circuit, within ten feet of the breaker box. The load calculation put the minimum service at 132 amps against the 150-amp supply the house already had, so the circuit went in without the panel being touched. That calculation is the check that decides whether an EV charger is a morning’s work or the start of a service upgrade, and it is far better done before anything is ordered than on installation day. A permit was filed with the township and a utility rebate application submitted as part of the job.
