Kyle from Jackson, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since September of 2025. The charger went in that November: a hardwired ChargePoint Level 2 unit rated 11.5 kW, mounted outdoors on a dedicated 60-amp circuit with surge protection and a service-disconnect switch. The load calculation put the minimum service at 47 amps against the 100-amp supply the house already had, so the circuit went in without the panel being touched. That calculation is the step worth insisting on: it is what separates a charger that can simply be added from one that needs the service upgraded first, and it is far better established before anything is ordered than on installation day. A permit was filed with the township and a utility rebate application submitted.
