Dimitra from Asbury Park, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since September of 2016, and has come back twice in the years since. The generator and the array were booked on the same day and finished within a week of each other in November of 2016: 16 kW in a steel enclosure on a 200-amp whole-house transfer switch, and 27 panels making 8.51 kW into a SolarEdge inverter with optimizers, estimated at 7,864 kilowatt hours in the first year. JCP&L interconnected the array in December. Soft washing followed in July of 2025 – the low-pressure method that lifts algae and mildew off siding without driving water behind it, which is what a pressure washer does to a house not built to take it. Ten years is a long relationship, and the array and the generator have both been running for all of it.
